İzmir Tax Office Announced the Taxpayers Who Declared the Highest Taxes

 

KT&G Turkey is among the top 100 taxpayers that declared the highest corporate tax in 2021 and 2022.

 

In the 2021 List of Taxpayers Declaring the Highest Corporate Tax, KT&G Turkey has declared an amount of 20,666,863.77 TL corporate tax and was ranked 81st with its tax accrual.

 

In the 2022 List of Taxpayers Declaring the Highest Corporate Tax, KT&G Turkey has declared an amount of 42,386,828.24 TL corporate tax and was ranked 68th with its tax accrual.

KT&G Continues to Grow in Tire: Employment will double

Korea Tomorrow and Global (KT&G), one of the leading companies in South Korea, continues its growth operation at its factory in Tire, Izmir.
According to the information received from the company, KT&G, which started its activities in Turkey in 2007, will continue to grow stronger and stronger with the increasing investments and strategic planning in recent years.

95 MILLION DOLLARS INVESTMENT

KT&G Continues to Grow in Tire: Employment will double
KT&G Turkey is now expanding its factory in Tire to a higher capacity with an investment of 95 million dollars. As part of this project, employment at the plant will at least double. At the same time, KT&G Turkey is preparing for an extensive upgrade of its production facility. This includes the installation of new machinery and other autonomous systems from South Korea and Germany, as well as expansions and renovations to the factory areas to maintain production and product quality.
With these strategic investments, KT&G Turkey aims to contribute not only to its own growth but also to the regional economy and employment.
The South Korean company aims to increase localization in Turkey by emphasizing the historical brotherhood between South Korea and Turkey and to grow further with the value from this land.

GLOBALLY RENOWNED BRANDS ARE PRODUCED IN THE FACTORY IN IZMIR TIRE

KT&G Turkey's factory in Tire opened its doors on January 24, 2007. With an area of 145 thousand square meters, the plant stands out as a production facility equipped with advanced technology and autonomous systems and complying with high safety standards. As of today, with more than 200 employees, it manufactures world-renowned brands. The global company continues its commercial activities both in the domestic and foreign markets.
The factory currently employs 168 people, excluding subcontractors, and this number is increasing rapidly. As part of its latest investment drive, KT&G Turkey aims to increase the number of employees by 70 percent to over 280 by September 2024.

EXPORT TARGET OF 59 MILLION DOLLARS

KT&G Turkey makes a significant contribution to the Turkish economy by exporting 88 percent of its products abroad. The export return, which was 13 million USD in 2023, is expected to increase to 46 million USD in 2024 and reach 59 million USD in 2025.
KT&G Turkey has raised a total of USD 54 million in capital increases in 2022 and 2023 and plans to raise USD 36 million in 2024 and 2025. The investments, totaling more than USD 159 million are planned be used to expand the operation in Tire, Izmir and add new production lines.

AIM TO BREAK THE 8-FOLD GROWTH RECORD IN 2024

KT&G Turkey aims to complete its factory expansion in 2024, doubling the number of employees and expanding its operational network by prioritizing domestic sales. The company plans to break the record of eight-fold growth in 2023 and set an even bigger record.
